Move aside Paris, here's a new hare-ss!

Hello Stranger!

Meet Fifi Lapin, the worlds most stylish bunny.

in marc jacobs

Fifi,is a bunny character who features and also wears designer clothes straight from the runaway. Her collections ranges from Alexander McQueen, Anna Sui, to Channel, Marc Jacob and others. To me, the blog is something new and fresh as compared to other fashion blogs that i have ever seen. Its brilliant how a bunny is created as a person's alter ego in order to express the author's fashion interest.

the blair waldorf

Alas, ive found the piece that i really like.I told myself a few weeks back that im gonna try and find a life purpose. Not knowing that what it would be, as the subject changes contstantly according to my mood or inspirations. But i think Ive got it.
From today,im officially launching "THE BLAIR WALDORF (B&W) PROJECT"
No, its not that im going to make gossiping my life purpose. Its just that im inspired by Blair's head band fetish and so, now Im trying to create or design head bands!

Traditional head bands, in my opinion are boring and if not designed properly will look like a CAT on your head. Those peacock design on the other hand is like having a bird on your head. no offense. But its true! I like a simple, sweet, and non-animal feathers inspired things on my head band as, well, lets face it, I dont want PETA to charge me for animal slaughtering.. JUST KIDDING HAHAHA

Happy Father'S Day Abah!

I think I have a love hate relationship with my dad. He could really drive me up the walls sometimes.I think the reason to that lies beneath the fact that he knows all of his children all to well. Which again, really bugs me.

Take this morning for instance, I woke up early at 6 am (which i don't usually do), pick up the pail and a sponge, pour some soap into the pail and went to the foyer to wash my car because it was frighteningly dirty (and also due to the fact that I'm going out to see Adi after work today).
So and then, my dad comes out in his kain pelekat and doubtful face that i recognised so much and started asking me this
"Kenapa Ara cuci kereta pagi pagi ni?" (20x)
that means, why am i washing my car, for twenty times.

I could have asnwer his question politely by just saying something like this
"Because, i wanna go to work in a clean car".
Which i did after the first time he asked me the question.

But knowing my dad, he.. my dear friends, is not the type that would be satisfied until he gets to the bottom of the mystery of why her lazy ass daughter would wake up early in the morning to wash her car.
So, he buckle up his kain pelekat, marched towards me and stared at me as I was scrubbing the bird poop out of my white Persona.
Then he begins again..."Are you going out tonight?"
ArgGgHhHhH!!!!@@#!$#%@^

First and fore most: I hate it when he's right. It feels like someone just
shot me straight in the head.
Secondly : My dad is always right, he's like this creepy mental analyst.
Thirdly : Can someone just shoot me in the head for real this time?

Arghhh!!

HOW DID HE EQUATE...

You see, that's probably why being the third child isn't so much fun after all. I think, after messing up and experimenting with the first and second child, parents tend to know the tricks and trade with the third child. And who can blame them right? After all, parents do wants their best for their kids.

Anyways, before I continue on with the story...Let em tell you a secret of how to recognise a person who is trying to lie or hide something.

#1. He/She tends to scream or his/her voice will get extremely pitchy.
(Why is this so? Probably because he/she is trying to hide a certain hesitation or perhaps the lie itself )
#2. He/she never look him in the eye
(This also, is to avoid unwanted confrontations and to help the person being lied to realise he/she ie the liar is making up a story)

note: by writing he/she I'm actually referring to myself. Don't know about everyone else. I'm just terrible at lying.

the story continues...

So as he was trying to unveil the mystery of me washing the car this morning, i was trying to hide the truth by doing tricks #1 and #2.

Until, 20 minutes later, my brother.. Sharul, comes out of the house and said
"Nak pegi dating je kene basuh kereta"
Keep in mind that my dad was still at the corner watering the plants whilst waiting to solve his mystery.

Babysialbodonhbangangbabibabibabibabibabi........!!!!
I forgot that i told my younger brother yesterday that i couldn't pick him up after work because i was going out later.

Babi aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!!!!

So there it is, he got to solve his mystery.

I swear if i could hear his thoughts he must be laughing his evil laugh at me. SIGH!!!

Wait, the story isn't finish yet...

Believe it or not, after the mystery was solved (or after my brother kantoi-ed me)
he not only left me alone and stop bugging me, he even left 30 bucks on the breakfast table for me to go out after work tonight.
I personally think he did that just to make fun of me (more like patronising me je)
But nola, he's just sweet and weird all at the same time in that sense.

Morale of the story : don't try to lie to you parents. They're way smarter then you think.heheh

love you abah

LDR

meet my twin sister.

Most people have a long distant relationship(LDR) with his or her significant other. A boy or a girlfriend. But my LDR is with my long time best friend Hani. We've been friends for more then 10 years now. But now, she has been living in Manchester for the last year and i have been missing her so much. It's hard to maintain a friendship when one is not only at a different country, but also a totally diff continent of the world. Lets not talk about the diff time zone, diff life experiences and diff environment we live in. But i think we worked it out pretty great.Like me and her, we would use Facebook to the max at updating each other with our lives, and i dont think that I've missed telling her one single exciting thing that happened to me.

However, the thing i love the most about her being there is that i get to pesan so many things from her. I mean it's frigging UK! Things there are totally crazy cheap and awesome!!~ Many many many thanks honey bunny for all the gifts youve given me, I totally L.O.V.E it.
I really hope one day, when i get the chance to work or study there i could return the favour.

Omg! i cant believe i havent seen her for almost a year now, and today, i got an email from her saying..

I'm doing okay, a bit depressed though but hopefully angah can cure it when she comes. I miss u. I decided to come home after graduation in mid july. So just a month more to go and I'll see u soon.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! She coming home~!!! I'm totally hyped!!!!
Cant wait to have my sister back! see you in a month!

never too late for a resolution.

i have never really set a list of new year resolution just cause, i know i'll never stick to it.yes, one thing that i lack is self determination. But, no more of those negativity, no more slacking of. Even though its in the middle of the year, im creating myself a mid year resolution.
so, here it is.

Get a degree by the end of August next year.
Make sure i get a good grade of at least B+ for every subject.Go to all classes. Oh god, im done and over with the whole skipping class thing. Last year i managed to attend 90% of classes, but this year im attending 95%.I'll also do my best at keeping notes of the subjects that im taking next year organized updated.

Earn, save money and travel Get a part-time job while studying. Save $$$ from salary and allowance- make the amount a five figure (too much? I DARE myself!). Create a separate account for traveling. Visit two countries, financed by part of the savings. Particularly Indonesia and Krabi Island, Thailand.

Be healthier Must eat healthily and loose weight
Become 53kg and maintain that for the rest of the year.Dieting alone is certainly not good enough. Being healthy is all about exercising and eating good food. Im already switching my diets to eating more veggies and fruits, but still keeping 1 or 2 days off for my old time favourite foods like nasi lemak and chocolates.Must start doing yoga again!

Extra-curricular activities
I love cooking. A year back i thought im completely hopeless at this. Little that i know that living on my own requires me to cook every now and then. Thus, now i cook soups and pasta and some malaysian cuisine. Id really like to learn more. So, i think i'll enrol myself in cooking and baking classes this year despite of my busy schedule.

Look awesome Have clear skin by December.
Must find that good skin care product to get clear skin.
Wont be too lazy to apply creames at night and in the morning anymore. Stay away from LOREAL PRODUCT AS OF NOW, IM OBVIOUSLY ALLERGIC TO IT.Buy new foundation. i like the one from Benefit. Sell new clothes and buy new ones. Revamp the wardrobe.

Be positive and do good Get more organized.
Be PRODUCTIVE. Be more PASSIONATE. Procrastinate less. Bother less about people's complicated private lives and give support to friends and family whenever appropriate.Care more abouth others.Be less awkward. Be more friendly.Make new friends. Be more honest. Learn to keep my promises. Learn to be more respectful . Give, give and give- birthday cards and gifts, treat random people, anything!

Ive learned so much from my past mistakes and intend to make amends. if ive done you wrong, im really sorry. May this will be the start of a new beginnings=p

2010 WORLD CUP FASHION

Fifa world cup has become a phenomenan not only for the gentlemen out there, but, it also has become a craze for the ladies too. the agenda may not be just for the exciting game itself.YEAH YEAH.. deny it all you want.. but there are those out there who are just there to impress your man at a football match party. Lol.Like i dont know!!! Whatever the reasons are.. for those of you who would like to support your favorite team without sacrificing your sense of style.. here are some cute outfits you can wear.

Outfit #1- England

Product Info: T-Shirt – French Connection, Shorts – Tilly’s, Motorcycle Boots – LorisShoes.com, England Lunch Bag – Debenhams, England World Cup Necklace – Monsoon.co.uk, Earrings – ASOS

The World Cup tee from French Connection, featuring three lions, is a symbol of English soccer. Note: Since the tee is a men’s shirt, it will be a little loose and drapey, which is perfect for wearing over a cute pair of denim cutoffs. Next just add up a pair of boots and a special World Cup necklace complete with football and whistle, and some red flower studs.. andddd you're ready to go.. Simple and comfort is the main key here.

Outfit #2 - Brazil

Product Info: Scarf – WorldSoccerShop.com, Dress – Arden B, Belt – ASOS, Flip Flops – Havaianas, Bracelet – WorldSoccerShop.com, Brazil Messenger Bag – WorldSoccerShop.com, Wedges – Nordstrom

For those who are cheering for the Brazilian team, the main aspect of your clothes is the colours! The Brazilian team is famous for the blue, yellow and green colour and thus, whatever your style is.. focus on this 3 colours.
For this look, the theme is flirty and fun. A blue body-con dress is perfec.Just layer it with a Brazil soccer scarf over it to add interest and keep warm in case the A/C is blasting. Next, add a few unique accessories: I love this Brazil soccer cuff for its fun aesthetic, while the Adidas bag is a soccer classic. Finally, if you’re daring, slip on a pair of comfy (and cute) wedges to add height and make your legs look mile-long. Not a heels girl? Rock the official footwear choice of Brazil: Havaianas.

Outfit # 3 -Germany

FIFA WORLD CUP 2010: SOUTH AFRICA

The time we've all been waiting for is here!!! The 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa begins tonight (Friday, 11th June 2010) when the tournament hosts take on Group A rivals Mexico in the magnificent surroundings of Soccer City.
(just saying it, just gives me the shivers!! brrrrr)

QUICK INFO:

Bare in mind that no host nation has ever lost their opening game in the world finals. And, even though this is new territory for the South Africans, the Mexicans have had the honour of opening up the competition on four previous occasions (1930, 1950, 1958 and 1970), although they failed to win any of those games.

THE MATCH:
South Africa-Mexico, Group A, Johannesburg, Friday 11 June, 16.00 (local time)

Did you know that The Bafana Bafana have never won a FIFA World Cup finals match and tonight, they are going into the game with the weight of a nation’s expectations on their shoulders. Hopes have been buoyed by an unbeaten run of 13 games under Carlos Parreira, including notable wins over Colombia and Denmark. Led by the in-form duo of Steven Pienaar and Katlego Mphela, the hosts have not looked stronger in recent years.

If their impressive 2-1 warm-up defeat of world champions Italy is anything to go by, the dynamic Mexicans are sure to provide the home favourites with a stern test. El Tricolor offer up a compelling blend of youth and experience, with the likes of Giovani dos Santos and Carlos Vela dovetailing to perfection with old hands such as Gerardo Torrado, Cuauhtemoc Blanco and Rafael Marquez. On this form, they might just break their Opening Match hoodoo.

FAVOURITES:

Over the past year i have been a true England fan and never once that i have failed to root for them. England have appeared at 11 previous editions of the global showpiece, including their debut at Brazil 1950. Victory was their in 1966 on home soil, their best performance outside their own shores came under the late Sir Bobby Robson at Italy 1990, when a side featuring the likes of Gary Lineker, Chris Waddle, Paul Gascoigne and David Platt reached the last four only to lose out on penalties to eventual winners West Germany.

This time around I think that they've put the record straight, to some extent. Since the manager arrived, there has been nothing but hard work and, it seems that their confidence has come on a million miles in the way the team is playing. Following the 5-1 home win over Croatia which sealed qualification for South Africa 2010,I'm really looking forward to watch the England midfielder Frank Lampard, to play.

ALTHOUGH, THIS YEAR I'M WAVING...
THE BRAZILIAN FLAG....woooohoooo!!!

There's so many reason why I'm switching teams this year and amongst them is that i hate keep losing bets over them. I mean, Ive always known in my heart that every time i root for another that goes against them, i'm going to lose. But somehow, i really really want them to slack of sometime and give the other team a chance. (Note: remember the 02 SEMIS : ENG vs BRAZIL? i was heartbroken!!)
But nope, not this year. I know that Brazil is if not the best, one of the best teams there is. Thus, with high hopes and cheer, I'm innit to winit.
Oh yeah, speaking of...
i found out that picking just a few names from a country so prolific at producing footballing talent is no easy task, though 2009 did underline the importance of certain key players. Starting between the sticks and we have keeper Julio Cesar, whose safe hands are a vital feature of A Seleção's miserly defence. The triumphant FIFA Confederations Cup South Africa 2009 campaign cemented Kaka's place as the man Brazil look to for inspiration, a fact reflected in him taking the adidas Golden ball. Meanwhile up front, Luis Fabiano proved himself a truly world-class finisher with five goals including a priceless brace in the 3-2 final win over the USA.

How.about.that.huh?

THE FIXTURES:

Group G
Match Date - Time
14 15/06 20:30 Brazil vs Korea DPR
29 20/06 20:30 Brazil vs Côte d'Ivoire
45 25/06 16:00 Portugal vs Brazil

Anyway, wishing all teams GOOD LUCK and I will see yall tonight (sort of) at 10pm for the kick off..
have a nice day!!!!!

PLANS

Plans.
I'm constantly worried about not having any of them.
I'm causing myself grow a grey hair planning for the future.
I get lost without them.
At first when i just finished with school, i wanted to take medicine so bad. That was also a decision i made based on a plan. I think that was waaay back in 05.
Even got a place in biological science in Matrix Gopeng. But lets face it..every so often, plans changed. And it happened for a reason.
As a human and a muslim, humans can only plan..and god shall determine our fate.
Even though, i really wanted to go through with it, God has better plans for myself.
Dad made one phone call to the UIA rector back then, and there i was ready to take up LAW. the thing I resent the most in life.

I questioned myself...

how in the world does a person read law? Isn't there a ge-zillion tons and stacks of things that one must know in order to take up this peace of crap? And lets face it, no body cares about a bloody thing. I know i don't.

Remember Ally McBeal? The skinny anorexic chick who daydream all day long and imagine piano falling on people that she loathes? Well, if i ever get into the business, I'm gonna be JUST LIKE HER. I see judges being cynical and all that in the court all the time and goodness grace, i cant imagine being called an idiot in front of others. And if she does call me an idiot, shes DEAD to me. like metaphorically. like shes some kind of an insect and am a gigantic foot stomping on her brainless face. Then everything will go into a blur and I'll storm out of the court room and take my law books and burn it all together.

fuhh, Okay. i feel better. where was i...?
(Sorry. Had a huge fight with the boss this week, and I'm blaming on the taking up law plans.) Oh yeah, anyways..

i use to hate the 5 years plan to take up law. I think i still do sometimes.
But theres no use of nagging and crying and throwing tantrums for having to change plans. Why? Because it's just going to bring you down. If I'm going to blame all the bad things that happen in life based on the decision Ive made 5 years back, then I'm not going anywhere. In fact, I'll miss out on many things in life.

I hear myself and others telling me all the time "Keep an open mind...Rezeki ada di mana-mana, as long as you work for it.." I used to take those words for granted, but true enough, even though, by now, my mind is only half opened... The other half is still full with question marks... I'm starting to see the fruits of my labour. I see opportunities flashing across me everywhere. Opportunity to learn. Opportunity to work. opportunity to meet people. Opportunity to find somebody to love and even, opportunity to find my true self. And it is up to me to take those opportunities and to make them mine. If i don't, someone else is going to take it.. Am just stuck in time and tale of a girl.. who wanted to take up medicine, but she cant. and so she became an inglorious pain in the butt for everyone.

So here i am. 5 years later. Seeing back at myself 5 years back in those baju kurung school uniform. The head strong, idealist, day dreaming, ambitious person that i was and still am. Only now, im so much more laid back. so much more mature. so much more happier and definitely much much more wiser.

Right now, im happy to announce that in 2 weeks time, I'll be finishing my law attachment programme at Bursa Malaysia K.l and after that, Ive got 1 more year before i graduate. And after that.. chambering at a top notch law firm in KL and at the same time finish my Shariah diploma.

so much for not wanting to plan...

Yeah those are the things that i wanna do before other plans get into the picture. Nevertheless, in all spirit of trying to keep and open mind, whatever changes that may effect the current plan, I'll accept it with patience and belief that I'm heading to a much better path.

Amin.

WORLD MALAYSIAN BOOK OF RECORD

wow. I was really touched at the amount of people turning up for the World Milk Day Event on Sunday.Kudos to everyone for the unexpected turn outs.. Not only did we manage to break the initial 2500 records for people drinking milk at the same time, But 3200 people actually came to Pavilion and join the record breaking event. As a true Malaysian i am truly proud of it.

Mr. Bas van den Berg and Datuk Zainal Abidin Putih of Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad

The boy scouts were the most obedient amongst everyone that were there. Not only that i found it very easy to work with them, amazingly, there was no rubbish or empty bottles lying around on the floor at the end of the event. So salute!
