going hiking

the beginning of the journey...

yeayy!!!we made it down

Avillion yatch club

I had been waiting for this week for the longest time. I seriously need a holiday or else the first week in uni would be like a zombi fiesta for me. LOL. So me, my cousins and my parents drove down to Port Dickson on Friday and spent our weekend by the beach!

the view from our room was spectacular. At sunset, you can actually see the sun went down the horizon. It was beautiful!

The Spa House was incredible, but spooky.

Doesnt the spa looks incredible. Yes it does. I loved the all glass design and the fact that it's painted in white. It stands over the ocean and overlooks the Malacca Straits Sea. You can practically hang on the varandah after the spa and enjoy the awesome view.. Spa price aint that expensive if you ask me. Totally worth trying.

The only downside of the visit was the fact that I heard some uneasy spooky ghost story about the place from a friend. Totally brings the goosebumps at the back of my neck whenever i think about it.. yea, i am quiet superstitious.

However, we still managed to have some fun. Loving the scenery and all... I had to go back to K.L on Sunday as UIA is reopening on Monday..sigh or else I would probably stay another night with my cousin and her friends for an all girls night in.. =(

bye bye PD..

Internship

Can i be a little bit poetic today? because as I was driving this morning, everything seems to be in order.. The road was clear, clouds were beautiful, it was as if I was looking at blue cotton candy floating on air, and the radio was playing all my favourite song. i guess that's a sign of the start of a good day. =)

In fact Im proud to say that, today is my last day here in Bursa Malaysia,K.L as an intern! I have yet to process the fact that it has been 12 solid weeks since the first day i stepped in here and eventhough, working life has its ups and downs, I am very proud of myself.

clap clap!!

The best thing about being here is definitely the learning experience. I must say theres so many things theoretical training couldn't teach you. After being thrown in the real life, I see now how exactly people really are. That's a good thing that i got it all now rather then later. I've also took the time to think about how am I going to use the Law degree soon when i graduated.

Hopefully, everything goes as planned..say a little prayer for me? =P

Happy 22nd Birthday Farah

Oh btw, today is Farah's Birthday..
Have a good one this year darling~!

This picture was take last year on her surprise birthday lunch at Sahara's Tent together with Myra and Shera.. Amazing how a whole year has passed so quickly..

yes, i can bake people

A few years back, a friend of mine forwarded an email asking me to join a competition called the Nescafe Kick Start Programme. I was at that point of time on my semester break and had nothing better to do at home. So i decided to join in just coz, i thought i might fill in some of my free time. The programme basically requires you to set up your own business (anything at all that you prefer). So i did some research online, and start writing down some business plans. Everything else just comes into place. As at that point of time, cupcakes were really popular and well, i was thinking that I'm pretty good at baking, so why not..

The programme lasted for over 3 months which sadly was not as long as the semester break. After 2 months of perfecting my bakery skills (yeah, i might be exaggerating a little bit) and of trying to get my friend to vote, semester reopens and i had to get back to class. SADLY.

But on the bright side, as i was really passionate about the whole starting up a bakery business, every weekends i would bake a few batch of cupcakes and sell it to my friend on Monday. Made a few bucks out of it, but as time was nearing to exams and more assignments had to be submitted, i gave up baking. And also because of that, i didnt have any time to ask for more votes from my friendss. The thing is with competitions with voting system is that you will lose once people stopped voting for you, which was the exact case for me.

tadaaa!!!the first batch of cupcakes.. i thought it looks adorable ..

Nevertheless, i never stopped liking and learning how to bake. I was at my aunt's house to watch football and dinner one night when she popped out this incredibly cute looking box which look like a cosmetic box and out came this round, colourful looking things. She said they're called the macaroons. But are pronounced as "ma-ca-rons" by the Parisian. First bite of it was absolutely heaven. The outer layer of it is smooth and crispy just like an egg shell. The inner filling is delicate and moist, sweeter then the outer coat. Trust me, if you have a sweet tooth, these would be one of your favourites. These macaroons are made from beaten egg whites, said Aunt Hasni when i asked her what was the ingredients.HAH! who knew egg whites could be so yummy?

notice the box, yes.. laduree's macaroons comes with stylish and cute boxes too~

Move aside Paris, here's a new hare-ss!

Hello Stranger!

Meet Fifi Lapin, the worlds most stylish bunny.

in marc jacobs

Fifi,is a bunny character who features and also wears designer clothes straight from the runaway. Her collections ranges from Alexander McQueen, Anna Sui, to Channel, Marc Jacob and others. To me, the blog is something new and fresh as compared to other fashion blogs that i have ever seen. Its brilliant how a bunny is created as a person's alter ego in order to express the author's fashion interest.
